Message from the Director

I'd like to welcome you to our Holy Cross Head Start family. Created in 1969, Holy Cross Head Start Inc., is one of the most successful, longest-running, school readiness programs in the United States.

To ensure that we fully accomplish our mission, my role as the Executive Director is to ensure that we provide assertive, innovative, reliable, proficient, services to our children, families, and communities with accomplished, enthusiastic staff in a facilitative, honest, professional, collaborative and common sense approach that will help our families and communities become more successful, empowered, self sufficient and inter-dependent success. - Cortland Purks, Executive Director
